just for the hell of it , is the a neg cable passing though the obc going to the end battery ?

I'm currently dealing with a bad OBC on my 99 CC 48v. For a quick fix (until $250 bucks magically appears in my pocket) I can disconnect the positive cable from the battery pack for thirty seconds, reconnect, and charge as normal. A mild inconvenience but not a big deal. This may work for you and it's the only reason I bring it up.

I have heard from some very knowledgeable board members here that resetting the OBC rarely solves anything.

Thanks for this info. But it isn't my cart and the cart belongs to someone with Primary Lateral Sclerosis (spelling?). A work around isn't doable in his case. At this point it takes him a couple hours to get ready for the day.
