98' DS CC - Steering all over the road
After 5 years of "chasing" my steering I finally want to fix it once and for all. I've upgraded and replaced almost everything on the cart over the years and now I need to take on suspension and steering.
I just purchased brand new HD leafs for the rear and all new shocks which I'll be installing first before I approach steering. When I go 15mph+, the steering is VERY loose. What I mean is, if I turn the steering wheel just 1/2 an inch either direction, the cart takes a VERY aggressive turn. All of my friends carts have nice smooth steering where little adjustments to the steering wheel only result in minor changes in their direction at high speeds. Is this a camber issue, alignment issue, or old 15 year old parts and I should start fresh? Thank you, |

My guess would be worn out parts. Maybe the steering box?
Sorry, I've never really messed with the steering of a cart before... |
