Re: Polarity and voltage on Key Ignition on 94 CC
Sorry waverider I was reading your post quickly on my phone and i thought the ON said OFF. Like your cart ran with key OFF. If it runs with key on then what is the issue? You should be able to measure the voltage to key switch with a volt meter and be able to tell what the voltage and polarity is if its working

Re: Polarity and voltage on Key Ignition on 94 CC
Yeah I guess so. All I know is the third pin needs a positive connection to make meter work so I want to find one by key switch where the meter is close by.

Re: Polarity and voltage on Key Ignition on 94 CC
blue wire off key should be 36v+ powered when key is on ..red is 36v+ all the time .. you need to run a ground wire to the battery pack (#6 neg post).. i run both meter wires to to the pack

Re: Polarity and voltage on Key Ignition on 94 CC
Cool thanks! Yeah I thinks when I was testing with multi meter I was putting the red sensor on the key switch terminal but the black sensor was attached to some black (ground?) wire in the front. Perhaps that's why I got a bad reading. Ill try again today.

Yeah it's the lights. I figured they used same ground but maybe not.
