Default E-Z GO powerwise Qe on a club car with IQ plus

I have a 2009 Carryall 2 with the IQ plus system and an Ez Go power wise Qe charger both 48 volt.

Does anyone know if this charger is compatable with this system?
If so do you know the wiring?

The manual says to use the IQ Plus charger.

I am not positive, but I would guess only a CC charger would work with the OBC.

. . . only a CC Powerdrive charger can communicate with the OBC . . . that is by design . .

I don't mean to be rude, but.

Why not take the worse charger ever made and use it with the worse charging system ever designed?

The QE is a throw away charger ( pile of them out back at the local Ezgo dealer) and the OBC has over- complicated a simple process. So why not pair them up?

If you really want to do this you will need to bypass the OBC, so that it will still maintain drive functions but not the recharge duties.

ScottyB. Thanks for the response. This is why I have posted the question. The charger came with the cart without an end so I am trying to determine if it is worth putting the Club Car end on it or if I should try and sell it and spend the money on something else.

What charger would you recommend and how do I go about bypassing the OBC?

If the OBC system is ok in the cart, just find a Club Car IQ Plus charger.
Or you could get rid of the OBC system and get one of scottybs automatic chargers.
Either way, sell the QE charger...

Or you could get an automatic charger add on to your existing charger for $150
