2001 Electric Club Car wont go

I had plugged it back up but after I couldn't make it go I unplugged it and put the paper clip back in it. Still wouldn't work.

I haven't checked the continuity of the pedal yet.. I was having trouble holding both leads and pushing throttle...I found my alligator clip leads today...I may be able to do the test with them.

I do remember that for the last year sometimes when you would press down the accelerator it wouldn't go but if you released it and pressed it back down again it would then go. I will check into testing it's continuity more as soon as I can.
