I got the reversing contactor in yesterday by lunch time and had it installed on my ezgo in about 2 hours. That thing is the s@#t! We rode the cart for about 8 miles on the black top and when I got back the reversing contactor was about the same temp as it was outside. The wife and kids also love the rocker switch instead of that hard lever! This kit seems like a super sweet addition to any txt and looks like it will hold up great also.It will be put through the test this hunting season. Thanks Scotty for the fast shipping also!

So glad you are happy with the conversion. We love it on our test cart too. It's actually easier to operate than a PDS in dash rocker switch because the location is more ergonomically correct (easier to reach).

Thank you for the positive feedback - the guys need to know about this slick little upgrade for any series cart, not just Ezgo.

Well.....that looks like something I will go to next. After the last F\R switch "blowout" this one looks like a no brainer. Mine is only a year old and all set for this hunting season......but come April....yeah buddy!!!....this looks like the next upgrade!!

Had to run a few wires, mount the contactor, mount the rocker switch, change 4 of the cable ends from 5/16 to 3/8 and drink a couple beers while we double checked everything. You are going to like it alot.

Just so I don't misspeak (again), what's the amp rating for the contactor?

The HD unit has a 200 amp continuous rating
The Super duty unit has a 400a continuous duty rating.

From looking this looks to be a 2 solenoid setup with obvious extras. When neither coil is energized, is there continuity between any of the 4 wires ? As in, could this setup eliminate having the main solenoid from the circuit ?
