It did on mine. I used it to put a bike carrier on the back when I went camping. carried 4 bikes.

Outback Fabricators hitch on my 2008 Precedent. My cart has no lift, so the hitch is pretty low. I have not pulled anything with it yet. Just wanted it for light utility use. Love, love, love the Big Buck Rack from Outback.
