New body question
OK, I got my new body on my '94 CC Now I realize that altho there is predrilled F&R switch holes in this new body, there are no charger receptacle holes. Probably because this is a body for a gas or electric cart. Does anyone know what size holesaw bit I have to buy to get the proper hole for the charger receptacle? Thanks!

Don't know the exact size but have you measured the old one? If its not round you can use a router.

Yes, I have the old one, but my luck, I would cut the hole too small, and then I'd be up a creek.

Use a piece of cardboard to cover the the hole on your old body, make sure it lines up with the top of the cart edge, trace the old hole onto the cardboard, then cut that part out. Transfer it to the new body mark the hole, and use a dremel, you will have control over that. I would be afraid to use a router just because the base would cover up so much of what you are trying to cut. This is just an idea. Good Luck |
