yamaha g2 updrade ideas

There's a bunch of cool things about the G8 model. The body panels are made from "Metton", like water ski hulls. It's also like fiberglass, so very easy to work with and paint. The seats have wood bases, so you buy new seat covers and can use a HD stapler to attatch them. I do notice the front body is dented in. Remove the "Yamaha" emblem, then the 2 screws that attatches to a frame bracket, remove the 10mm nuts that hold on the black rubber trim studs. Bend the frame bracket back into the correct position and reinstall

What's the engine compartment look like ?

i see that now. however im torn as what i should do. There is nothing out in the world for the 90 g8 still. any good websites in your back pocket or added to your fav's you can share?

not bad i need to put the new carb in this wknd but other than that not bad. i will get you pics of 360 view. i want a dash, rear seats, universal roof assy wheels and tires lights, but golf cart king says the g8 is the ba$tard yamaha step child and there are no parts for this model. is that true?

Give Plowman's a call and speak with Don, if anything is available for your G8 he will have it or know where to get it. Don has a lot of new old stock.

I installed a rear seat assy from a G2 but had to modify it to work. It wasn't to big of a job if you got some fab skills...
