Valve adjustment
Hello , I have a Club Car with a 350cc kawasaki engine
Does anybody know the recomended valve clearance ? Also I do not see a traditional adjustment on this engine, like an adjustment screw on the rocker arms. Is it like some of the older briggs engines where you had to file the end of the valve tip to get the recomended clearance? Thanks for the help! |

Re: Valve adjustment
The 350 engine has hydraulic lifters, no adjustment is necessary.

Re: Valve adjustment
Wow-- Thank You !
So I need to get rid of a top end (rpm) stumble. I have cleaned the carb , all seemed to be good there . So maybe I need to adjust the speed governor? |

Re: Valve adjustment
OK I did a little test today . This club car is a Pioneer model so it has a dum bed . I raised the bed up and you can access the throttle right at the carb , so while driving it I pulled the throttle cable right at the carb and I still have a top end stumble .
Any Ideas???? |

Re: Valve adjustment
Doing that will cause the rev limiter to kick in when the rpm's are too high,
if the stumble your talking about is only at top speed, I'm guessing your governor has been readjusted, Which means you need to tune your governor down a bit! |

Re: Valve adjustment
Lockman1 ,
I presume you are talking about the electric rev limiter and not the one off of the diferential. Is that right ? |
