Re: 1989 ezgo rough running
89 has been doing an awesome job!! I was just joking I hope you know that 89,,, engine itself while running is smooth as silk now that 89 pointed me to the engine mounts and I replaced all 4, im really feeling like the vibration is in the rear somewhere.. driven clutch, belt, diff itself. I say this because if I block up the back wheels I haven't been able to duplicate only happens driving it. maybe governor issue? not sure whats in the rear end for that to be honest. haven't dug into that yet

Re: 1989 ezgo rough running
cowboy, if you check out the earlier pages of this thread, I made a point SEVERAL times to remind him to check the welds. He took everything apart and repaired the cradle.

Re: 1989 ezgo rough running
Yeah you're right... I had my threads mixed up.. Sorry bud. After going back and listening to the video, it may be in the back end. Out of curiosity, did you pull the belt and run it?

Re: 1989 ezgo rough running
let me clarify cowboy.. the vibration I speak of is only while driving (mid to high speed and when I let off the gas) there is no vibration from the engine that carries through the cart. the video was just for the odd clank / tick noise I was hearing... There are two issues I am speaking of and im probably not being very clear. for that I apologize.

Re: 1989 ezgo rough running
thank you for the comment. The wife calls me "Mr Perfect" I don't agree with that of course. lol just believe if your going to do something may as well be done right the first time to so you don't have to do it again. unfortunately when you lack the knowledge that you guys have such as I do you end up doing things more often (like pulling the motor in a golf cart). But I chalk it up as a lesson well learned in the end. Im just thankful there are guys out there willing to help and share your experiences / knowledge with the rookies such as myself. I have learned a lot from 89 the past few weeks already and I have much more info you suck from these brains here. ;)
