Default 2006 club car ds lift kit mod

This is my first time writing in...... I have a 2006 Club Car ds with a 6" dble A arm lift (Stiff el Cheapo)....... Can I turn it in to an 8" by adding blocks???? What is the difference between a 6" and an 8"?????? Any info would be appreciated.....

No!
Well... maybe it could be done, but, you would have to weld "risers" to each spindle where the 3 tie rods connect!
or the gear box drag link will be at too much of angle for the tie rod end.
and the spindle to spindle drag link? without risers, it will be obstructed by the frame!

And if it's an "el Cheapo" lift?... It just isn't a good idea to weld or modify it.

For safety sake... either leave it alone, or buy a quality 8" lift!

The AS 7.5 Super Sport lift is a nice lift!
