Default G2 headlights

Anyone out there with the cut in headlight assy on the G2 -G9 carts that can post a picture or two of them installed. How much work is it to install these? I am thinking of installing a set on my cart.

Thanks,
Tom

Its easy to cut out for lights on these carts. Just make sure you get a good and correct pattern before cutting. Ron 'TheNewGuy' has these lights on his cart (see his avatar). My G9, I just cut out holes and installed some aftermarkets from Walmart.

Ok here is a picture I pulled off ebay. The guy was selling this as a G1 but it is actually a G2. Anyway, just posting so if anyone else out there is considering installing a set of headlights (and does a search) they will have this as a reference. I was concerned with mine that the small holes for the turn signals might not get covered up by the new headlights and therefore leave a hole.

Sorry I missed this thread. The lights I installed are no longer available, however the installation was not at all difficult.

You should get cutting diagrams with the kit. We use to tape the templets to the position on the upper and lower front cowels. Then remove the upper cowel and cut out the peices needed and test fit the head lite assy in the lower cowel (cut on the inside of the lines, you can always trim more if needed) reinsatll the upper cowel and cut (inside the lines!). I think you'll be very happy with the "look" once installed. Oh by the way...we used a drill bit at the corners of the cutouts and a fine bladed jigsaw for the rest of the cutting. Some like the "roto zip's", but they get pretty squirly. Good luck Dave

Thanks for the replys, I am going to put this project on hold for now, as I already have headlights. I think the new style ones which are cut in look better.

Maybe you could get some ideas from how Spriddle cut in his lights.

Thanks Niner, that is what I was looking for. I have turn signals already mounted into the front and I wanted to see the position of the full headlight assy to make sure it would cover the other holes.
