Smile Re: yamaha 48v electric no power to small terminals

I check out gray wire from charging port,no power on it.. I took charging port apart looks fine..i don't see how theres power coming from this end because the gray wire terminal doesn't touch anything to get power...my charger cord that plugs into charging port only has 2 terminals on it...they don't even touch gray wire....anybody know about this.. also how do you check accerlator switch to see if its good without taking it out???

It's best to know the individual battery and pack voltages from the beginning.

Ignore all this voodoo about the Grey wire, it's nonsense for your issue. Yamaha themselves offer Dpi chargers with no provision for the third Grey wire, and believe it or not, those cars still run.

Throttle sensor? The cart needs to power up the 5v bus to operate the throttle sensor. It can't be "ohmed out". Sensor will have Black wire (B-), orange wire (5v +), and other wire is signal. Signal will be roughly 0.4v throttle at rest, 4.7v at full throttle.

I checked the orange and black wires coming to throttle sensor for voltage,it reads 0 volts. I have no power coming from controller,I hope this doesn't mean its bad now because its not a stock controller and cost me about 500.00 2 years ago....where can I check to see if theres power going to and coming from the controller???thanks for your help
