I'm no genius, but if the code is about faults in the field circuit, I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be the tach sensor, or the throttle position sensor (which ever "speed sensor" you are thinking). Neither of those inputs are powered by the field circuit.

Any suggestions ?? motor turns the tires when wired direct..I already installed a new solenoid..on start up before I turn on the tow/run switch I get 3 blinking green lights which is, 0-5v throttle...I'm not sure what that means......Once I turn the run switch on then I get 1 green and 5 blinking red lights which means motor field failure..,but motor runs when wired direct... On monitor page when plugged into my laptop it shows ;1;shutdown,2;field open alarm;3;high throttle input underrange; the controller is a 300 amp alltrax..

Do the "field ohms" test on the wires at the controller end. If that checks out good, call alltrax.

I checked the ohms with my digital meter from motor f1 and f2 it read 1.0. talked to alltrax rep tech he said to send controller back and they would send me another one..thank goodness I was still under my 2 year warranty....I mailed it back thanks cg and all who have contributed will be a week or two before I can put new controller back in...
