Re: Help me solve this puzzle! (Speed Sensor Related)
I went ahead and purchased an alltrax 300amp controller. Used, but still fairly new. I hope this fixes the problem as I think the controller is the culprit. Even if it is not, due to the lift and big tires, the controller is eventually going to need to be upgraded. Ive invested a lot of time in this cart, lol...I don't want to sell it. I offered $300 and he took it. Fair price i believe.

Re: Help me solve this puzzle! (Speed Sensor Related)
This should help:
http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_XCT.html On the terminal in you other pic/question, I think it is a negative for accessories. Wire appears to be a black color. Use a meter to check from pack neg or B- cable to that terminal on the ohms scale. See if you have solid continuity, like 0 or very low (.1) ohms. If you do then that is a neg terminal for accessory hookups. I don't see that pigtail in the schematic but it could just be left off. No grounding to frames on electric carts! One thing that should be noted is that controller will need the correct field map for your motor. I don't know about that and can't offer help here. Someone will or contact Alltrax to insure. cgtech should confirm this and I am sure he will. |
