I got me a 2017 EZGO RXV (stock) and can reach 14mph. The neighborhood kids run next to me while I'm at top speed, throw rocks, and then run on by laughing while I try to go faster and catch 'em but the pedal is to the metal. I yell out "One of these days!"
Is Bob still my uncle? If so, will there be a family reunion in N.C. anytime soon?

I have a 2006 TXT and Im interested in spped/torque increases. Bob sounds like the right person, but I'd like to approach this holistically as I am also considering a lift kit and bigger tires.

So, what I need is a consultant/designer to figure out what my cart will be when done, then program accordingly.

Thoughts?

Far as I know, Bob only does late model carts. Controllers in a 2006 TXT, whether series or sepex are not compatible with Bob's tuning. If typo and you meant 2016 then some tuning is possible but not like what can be done with an RXV.
If 2006 is true, an aftermarket controller that you can tune yourself is the way to go especially if sepex (run/tow switch in battery compartment). Alltrax or Navitas most popular. Also, you should seriously consider converting to 48v. EZGO stopped 36v production in early 2010.

Well, I just replaced the batteries and didn't even think about upgrading to 48. I'm getting the cart painted at the moment and thought it would be a good time to get other work done. And yes, my cart is a 2006. Bummer Bob can't help.

I do plan on a lift kit, maybe 3 or 4". With that, a little bigger tire. My cart runs great and can pull three fat guys up a hill. If it can still do that after the lift/tire upgrade, I'm all set. Thanks for your feedback!

Excuse me cause I’m new here, but you can reprogram stock controllers to reach those speeds? Alleviating the need to buy an aftermarket controller?

I have an 2016 ezgo rxv
