Thanks Gornoman,
I can tell every time I ask these types of questions I have more and more to learn.

But you know the saying:

"I don't know, what I don't know"

Don't you agree, that Club Car with 5 solenoids is a lot better than an old EZ-GO anyday.

Um,............er,.............um, no. Not yet anyway. I'll let you know this winter when I tear it down to the frame and rebuild it. The EZ-Go Series system is VERY simple to understand and modify. Maybe once I get my head wrapped around all these solenoids and microswitches.......

The 5 soloenoid/5 micro speed control system was the most complicated way to make a golf cart go until the introduction of the IQ cart CC has a bunch of engineers who go overboard to justify their salaries Really both your cart and killer's would greatly benenift from a solid state make over

I am not a Yamaha guy, not enough of em around here to get to know them.... But a 99 is no doubt already a solid state speed control system.... Unlike Gorno's Snithsonian model

Why not tell what you want the cart to drive like or be able to do when the upgrade is done? Include tire sizes, terrian, and load. That will help those with yami-tude to help you decide what is going to work best for you

Sorry for that Gorno, If you look at my Sig. I have 3 CC and 2 EZ-GO. I have no room to say anything about what is better. I enjoy working and riding on all of them.....
