Radios in the Dash
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone hade pics of your radio installs in your dash board. If anyone had a pic of the Yamaha G14 radio in there dash that would be awesome! Trying to get some ideals for my radio! Thanks, Matt!

Re: Radios in the Dash
If you dont need AM/FM or CD, you can skip the traditional head-unit and connect your MP3/smartphone music directly to a small amp. Or use a bluetooth and go wireless.

Re: Radios in the Dash
Not in the dash but this is what i have in my g29..
I had a radio in the dash before but moved it up because of my toddler son always banging on it or pulling on the knobs. Its a kenwood marine cd deck with bluetooth so that i can stream music, pandora etc from iphone without wires. |

Re: Radios in the Dash
You could custom mount it in one of the glove boxes--it's been done before.

Re: Radios in the Dash
Here's my installation. It works, but if I had it to do over again, I wouldn't mount it to the dash. The reason is cause when its located here, rain/snow gets to the stereo, even with a marine cover. I'm always having to go out and close the stereo door at any threat of rain. If I do it again, I would have the stereo mounted in a roof rack under the cart top. And put speakers there too. That way they stay dry no matter what, and you can hear the speakers if above your head. When they are mounted under the seat, you cannot hear it while driving. You can turn it up full blast and hear it, but every time you stop the cart, its blaring. I live for my music, but golf carts and stereo's are hard to deal with.

Re: Radios in the Dash
I want to do a Yamaha roof rack. I want to see if the radio I pick will fit in it it's a Jensen jms7010 radio. It has a low power warning you don't have to run a 2nd power line for setting.
