That looks fantastic. Can you detail some of the steps you too to prep the original
Paint, sanding steps, etc? I'd really like to do a paint job on my drive soon and have never done automotive type painting before.

first wet sand the body with 320 sand paper. Wash the body with dish soap inside and out. Dry body then (I primed with high build primer a few spots that I repaired earlier) . Let that dry water sanded that with 320 till nice and smooth . Then wash /dry and your ready for paint. (I sprayed base/clear) so make sure body is clean ,smooth and dry . Spray the base coat. 3-4 Thin coats let dry for 20 - 30 min water sanded the base with 1200 paper to get any dust ,dirt or small imperfections out. This also is the secret to get a nice deep finish. Now your ready to clear coat. Spray 2-4 coats of clear and let dry. Should look nice and wet. Don't worry if you see any dust or dirt in your paint you can also water sand and polish the clear coat. -Mayor

Thanks man. Don't knock the rattle cans. Done some pretty good paint work with a spray bomb. - Mayor
