so far i have installed the sport shifter on a 2001 club car gas , 2001 ezgo gas . and now 2002 ezgo electric
If I ever had to put one of those on my hunting cart......well....after the freaking gigantic bumps going across this field I went today......all I can tell you is it's a very good possibility that they would find the shift knob during my next colonoscopy!!!

Not sure what you mean. The shifter for the electric EZGO, TXT, is the same as the gas unit. Same shifter, same installation.

I too wonder how the linkage works, any pics under the seat to see the shift linkage articulation?
