Default Help!!! EZGO electric 36 volt can't get motor apart

Hello everyone. I have a advanced electric 36 volt motor that needs brushes and a bearing. For the love of me I can not get the commutator out. I have beat the mess out of it and it won't budge. I have tried to look for a plate on the inside but don't see one holding the bearing in. What am I doing wrong???

try a little heat on the housing, the bearing is a press fit

Beating just ruins the bearing!

Cant get the motor apart of the armature out of the housing?

If its the motor then you should tap it with a deadblow.

If is the armature /commutator out of the bearing then you need to find a shop press.

When you do get it apart, replace the bearing if you used any shock in the removal process.
