Re: DCX 400 controller wont
Hello I am back and installed a new Altrax controller and two mud shark rear tires. My cart runs now but only 5 mph? I checked my batteries and they all were bubbling away. 41 volts also checked S. G and they all were good. So I will change back to stock tires and see what happens. Have a Bandit motor and it went 25 mph before. What am I missing? ''Down in Baja''

Re: DCX 400 controller wont
Does your cart have a motor speed sensor? The controller may be looking for that signal & getting nothing.

Re: DCX 400 controller wont
The new XCT can monitor motor rpm. The old DCX could not.
If the cart is PDS your cart may no longer have the speed sensor cable. If PDS you have 2 options. 1. get a speed sensor cable and connect the controller to the motor so it can perform all of it's functions. This is the preferred solution. 2. change the program so the controller does not look for motor rpm by un-checking the limit speed box. |

Re: DCX 400 controller wont
So it does have a speed sensor? GO here and positively identify the drive system as PDS or DCS please. https://www.cartsunlimited.net/upgrade-suggestions.html
