I’d like to install lights. Any suggestions please?
EZGO txt 48.
I searched extensively but couldn’t find what I’m looking for and the engine search for lights was a bit overwhelming. I’m just looking for some forward illumination with an on off switch. Perhaps some red lights on the rear bumper. That’s it. No brake lights, blinkers or disco lights. TIA |

Get a 48v to 12v reducer and shop Amazon for lights of your choice.

A lot of the newer light kits will run off of 48 volts so look for that also. No reducer needed.. As you have probably seen there are thousands of options. My Yamaha I am working on now is going to get a 9" led light bar up front and a 12" led rear running/brake light either on the flat part of the roof or under the dump bed I am going to put on it.. Might even run some DRL for the rear while the cart is running just in case I want to flip the primaries off at night

I’d get a good voltage reducer like the ones from Scotty at cartsunlimited.net and get any light kit you want. LED kits are great and available on Amazon and eBay.

Re: I’d like to install lights. Any suggestions please?
All mine came from Amazon as individual lights but I am pretty handy with 12v wiring.
The rears include tail, brake, amber flashers, and white backup lights. Zoom in and you can see the small LED red and amber lights at the roof for extra visibility. We are in the country so no street lights for visibility to other drivers. The front lights are a pair of 6 bulb LED lamps for driving and a 12" bar for when there us no oncoming traffic or greater definition off road. |
