Curtis fault code 36
I have a 2020 Express S4 72v. It only has a few hours on it but it just started shutting off after about 10 minutes and showing a fault code 36. Once I turn it off and back on it will go again for another 10 minutes. The Curtis manual shows this:
Controller: 1234SE, Fault: 36 Fault Name: Encoder . Action: Shutdown EMBrake; Motor disabled. Fault Cause: 1. Motor encoder failure. 2. Bad crimps or Faulty wiring. 3. See Monitor menu -> Motor: Motor RPM. Controller: 1234SE, Fault: 36 Fault Name: Sin/Cos Sensor . Action: Shutdown EMBrake; Motor disabled. Fault Cause: 1. Sin/Cos sensor failure. 2. Bad crimps or Faulty wiring. 3. See Monitor menu -> Motor: Motor RPM. Has anyone else had this happen? What should I check and how? |
