Default Will a '90 Marathon body fit an '84 frame?

I found a guy who is selling the body (rear fenders, seat wrap, fender caps, console, etc.) from a '90 Marathon.

Will this fit on an '84 Marathon frame?

Thanks for any advice,

RLW

*BUMP*

I'm meeting the guy about 50 miles from here on Wednesday. My understanding is that the Marathons were all pretty much the same.

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks,

RLW

Sorry for the cross-post - I usually post in the Electric EZGO forum, but this probably applies to a gas Marathon as well.

Picked up the body parts and 4 18" tire/wheel combos. All of the parts - front cowl (with a plastic nose), rear fenders, plastic fender caps, plastic bag well, and the rear cover are in much better shape than the ones currently on my cart. The only part that isn't is the seat wrap - his was rusted out much worse than mine. Two of the tires are the same Carlisle tires with good tread and not much rust on the wheel. The two others are oddballs, but will be good to keep around for spares.

All in all, I think I got a pretty good deal for $100.

Marathon stuff all swaps,The only real differences are the cowls.3-wheel, 4-wheel,and Late 4-wheel(89-94).The only other different panel is the cover behind the seat, early carts had a gas-door(tank was over the rear, behind the seat). For $100,you did good if the stuff is nice.

It IS nice -- his cart ran on electrons, not aromatic hydrocarbons, so the behind-the-seat-cover looks like it'll fit mine fine.

My front cowl doesn't have the plastic nose-piece, but his looks like it'll bolt up OK. The bottom of the armrests on mine will be replaced by the plastic EZGO panels along the driver/passenger floor. I may have to drill a couple of new holes to make that fit.

A new body will be a fall/winter project. I'm gonna drive "Franken-cart", with its warts 'n' all, the rest of the summer, as is. I'll probably swap out his tires/wheels for my racing slicks in the next day or two, however.
