Unhappy installing kenwood kmr-d358 stereo in gas ez go

We have installed a Kenwood d358 in a gas ez go. When cart is in motion the stereo cuts out. We removed the same stereo and installed in a different gas ez go and it works fine.
Reintalled in original cart, same problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.

We exchanged the stereo already and used a dedicated battery, still the same problem

Run ground directly to battery and power preferably through a relay to battery. Also you should run a resistor plug if you aren't already.

Voice of experience: don't depend upon the chassis ground. Do as someone else said. Run a dedicated line to the battery.
