I can NOT find my vin # help
Hey guys I just picked up this cart for a project and I can not find the Vin number to tell me what year it is ect....

I'm thinking it's a G2...
Early Yamahaź Model G2 serial numbers can be found under the rear bumper stamped into the square cross member of the frame on the passenger's side of the vehicle. From 1988 through 1990 the G2 serial number can be found under the seat where the floorboard meets the engine compartment. |

Where the floor board meets the engine ??? Is that completely under the cart ? Where its stamped

Why can't yamaha use an aluminum plate and rivet it to the frame somewhere like atv companies do. It's so easy for the sticker to peel off from under the seat due to heat moisture or people in most cases.

I agree, its not on the back bumper on the square tubing, its not up front where my toe hitch thing is, I'm missing the section where the steering wheel goes down to tires if its on there ???
I flipped the seat forward and checked between it and the hinges nothing :( I guess I have a unknown cart lol |
