1997 turf 2 no start unless choked
I have a turf 2 and it wasn't running looked and saw the carb and gov cable was broke, replaced both with aftermarket parts(gov cable was not the same as I took off, the new one has a jam nut style) then ran fine for a day and now will not run unless you choke it and hold it. I then replaced the fuel line after finding a crack in the line and fuel filter, pulled pickup tube and made sure it was clear and was. Then I replaced the fuel pump and still same, pulled air box to see if clogged with something and nothing was in the air box. Any help would be great thanks

Unless it was a OEM Kawasaki carb, Yes its very common to have problems with the aftermarket carbs.

Sorry for the long delay got busy on other jobs. Cleaned carb and worked, but new problem came up runs but revs up and down now I have reset the gov back to factory and adjust the gov cable and still gov kicks in could the rev limiter be bad?
