Default G29 Big Block Swap Issues

so i just got my vegas big block swapped into my g29 but when i press the gas nothing happens. ive double checked the wiring on the starter and everything seems ok. with the key on i checked continuity on the solenoid thats in between the battery and starter. i assumed that when i press the pedal it should close it and send signal or power to the starter/gen and start turning over the engine but no. could the micro switch be faulty under the gas pedal? worked fine last week. Only wiring changes made were to lengthening the red/green wire from the harness to the starter(which were done right and not crossed) (ill check continuity, haven't yet) and lengthing the power wire. its because the starter is moved to the front of the engine bay. im scratching my head

Most yami carts run power to key, then to pedal switch, then to start solenoid. If you don't have it they should have a fuse also in there. You should not have to change any of the starter/gen wiring other than lengthening wires or something. You do have to manage the killing of the clone motor unless your cart engine had a mag ignition also then use that kill wire. If it had a 12v ignition like the G2/9 you need a relay to kill it, its pretty simple.

just figured it out. there's a plug off the old motor for the low oil light, best of my knowledge it wasn't in the instructions to reuse, had to ground it to the motor.

That is a new one, I don't know how many carts have a light for oil. Let us know how it runs when you get a few minutes on it!

The g29's have a low oil light on the dash. According to Vegas cart it should matter but if I don't have that grounded something keeps the starter /generator from turning.

Just have to mount the muffler, grab a 3/16 fuel line and align the motor and we should be in business. Update to come

My G 14 had a low oil light but it didn't affect the engine one way or the other. In fact the sensor was bad on mine so I cut the wire so the light wouldn't bother me.

I've seen them on other carts like they were an option, as most do not have them.

Seen you have the hush power 7501 muffler? Is it worth the purchase? I thought the Vegas header and the Stanley muffler sounded good for a few days but good lord is it annoying. Thinking I need to explore other options. And after much searching. I don't even see any available.!! Any other options??
