Default compression stall start of G16 Yamaha

Have to start and stop or bump starter to get engine to turn over to start, once hot, no fuel to filter

Disassemble carb and give it a good cleaning make pickup tube is still attached in tank and isn't sucking up junk mail and in the tank and plugging take off line from crank case to fuel pump and make sure it isn't partially clogged

have check all hoses and all is clear, just no pump action (fuel filter no gas) when run for a hour or so, it stalls the starter as it has lots of compression and I bump the gas peddle to get it to turn over

If starter won't turn it over I'd check brushes on starter the fuel filters on these won't but full have you pulled the line off the carb and checked for fuel flow when it acts up?

I have try pulling all hoses and when cold work fine, fuel pump fills filter and it runs, it get hot (after 9 holes) and the filter is empty of fuel. when I go to go again the starter won't turn the engine over unless I bump the gas a couple times and it turn over but doesn't have fuel to go

You are describing 2 separate problems. First, check battery voltage while cranking when it's acting up. Need to fix the cranking problem first, can't diag fuel problems on an engine that won't crank, that cranking is what powers the fuel pump. Second, when the filter is empty, loosen gas cap to see of tank is not venting properly.
