G2 main ground
Ok is there a main ground wire on the G2. Just trying to rule out as much as possible. Thanks.

The main ground on a G2 is a small 18 gauge wire, pigtailed into the negative battery cable eye end that attatche's to the starter/generator end plate stud. Then it has a built connector the plugs into the main wire harness.

ok great I will be able to get in there tomorrow and see, but I don't believe I saw that wire...that may be why it not charging.
