G9 steering box repairs
Hi All, wanting to know how to remove steering box and replace the bushes inside on my old Yamaha golf cart model No JG5/G9 any help would be helpful.

You will need to remove the score card holder and steering wheel. Remove the plastic bumper covers. Remove the "idler" arm from the "pitman shaft" (remove nut and metal keeper, then use a puller to get it off. Remove the four box mounting bolts and work to get the assembly out. After rebuild (another post), reassemble, but make shure to align the marks on the idler arm and pitman shaft. PS, there bearings not bushings. Good luck
