1988 EZGO clutch
First timer here! I bought a 1988 EZGO marathon gas. She's gonna be a rough project but I got it for $400.00
When I finally got it to run, inside the clutch housing, it sounds like there is gravel/a metallic clicking sound when it spins. I see a bolt in the middle of the housing.. I don't know if it should crack it open and try to clean it out or just buy a new one... This is the first of a few problem I'm having a time figuring out. any and all help is welcomed. |

Re: 1988 EZGO clutch
Which clutch? Drive, or driven? Removing the bolt on either one will get you nowhere. I will post your manual when I get home from work.
Here is the manual. Any real maintenance on either clutch requires removal. |

It's going to be the Drive clutch.
