"backwards" shifter knob?
Hey all,
My '86 Carryall 2 has a cracked forward/reverse shifter handle. Problem... I have found replacement shifter handles on the sponsor's websites, but... since this is an older carryall, the shifter is mounted on the left side of the driver's seat. This means that pushing the handle towards the front of the cart is F and towards the back of the cart is R. This is opposite of the normal shifter F-N-R pattern for the ones on most cars mounted behind your right calf while driving. Not a big deal, it would just be annoying... having to explain to everyone why it says "R" but the cart moves forward. I would be happy with a generic handle, with no lettering, but is there anywhere I get parts specific for a 1986 Carryall 2? |
