Default Predator 670 in 2001 EX GO - throttle questions

Just completed a Predator 670 installation with Vegas Carts kit. Install all good, but having issues getting full throttle travel, as welll as decreasing idle.
I am using the stock throtle cable from the Robins installation and can either adjust to make idle and not get fiull travel or adjust high and have an excessively high idle.
Also having issue putting in gear when engine running (idle too high perhaps?).
Recommendations, suggestions??
Thanks for your help!

You need to adjust the motor closer to the transaxle. You will likely have to relocate the oil cooler as it will interfere with the gear shifter on the front of the transaxle to get enough slack.

As for throttle settings, I can't help as I set up with the original cable but straight to the carb. I had to build a cable mount and an extension arm to make the throttle travel work. I also eliminated the governor. I may try to reinstall the stock throttle set up and governor. I'm afraid one of my idiot neighbors will get on it and blow it up.

Move it back from 1.5" slightly, a little at a time till you get no more pressure on the belt from the drive clutch and can easily shift while idling.

That’s neutral lockout.

It HAS to be perfectly centered in the detent or it will not shift into gear. That is to lock it into neutral so if you’re towing it, it won’t accidentally shift into gear.

Throttle travel corrected with drilling a hole in the linkage plate, slightly aft and close to the linkage plate shaft - approx 3/8 in. Down and about 1/8-1/4 in. Aft from the original throttle cable retention bolt hole.
Now need adjust governor, travel good, too speed limited too much.
