Default Belt cross reference

Is there a belt cross reference anywhere? I have a 30.2mm x 1102mm drive belt that I need a replacement for...

I have a 95 Ezgo and I put a 7/8" shorter belt on mine with the stock engine. I did this on mine to help it pull up hills. You don't need that kind of help with the clone, but I don't see where it would hurt to have it a little shorter.

Nothin wrong with bein a newbie, I'm a newbie at all sorts of stuff

I'm gonna let someone better equiped answer your question. My expirience has been when you ,easure a worn belt, it will be thinner than the correct replacement.

In my experience you can go a 1/16th wider than the stock belt with no problems, in fact I prefer it. I'm assuming we are talking about your 16hp clone as the power plant here, so let me ask you some questions:

Did the original distance between the clutches change from stock?

If Yes, how are you measuring for the new belt length?

If No, what was the stock belt measurement or part number when new?

Are you using the stock primary clutch, or did you get an aftermarket clutch?

If aftermarket, which one?

There is much more info on the stock type Dayco belts out there that this cross reference doesn't attempt to list, these are just "high performance" belts from snow mobiles and ATV's, so you may very well find an "OEM" type belt that meets your needs.

I saw the measurements from your first post and if my math is correct, I would look at this one:

MAX1082M2
43-9/32
1-7/32"

Thanks Flintrock! Thats the one I was considering.

To answer your questions:

Did the original distance between the clutches change from stock?

I will know 100% in the morning..dropping the engine in place then. Looks to be that i will be using the same mounting holes.

If Yes, how are you measuring for the new belt length? See above....

If No, what was the stock belt measurement or part number when new? 30.2MMx1102MM

Are you using the stock primary clutch, or did you get an aftermarket clutch?
Stock clutches, they appear to be ok, moved the cart under its own power before I yanked the 9hp out of it...

Thanks so much for any and all guidance!
