Yamaha G22 Club "Please Post"
Why not.. I 'm new and it takes alot of time to find the G22 items so post away. I will add my pics soon and I'm waiting on Jakes 6" lift, 22" tires and rear seat. Just need to upgrade rear springs I guess but, not sure ?

Re: Yamaha G22 Club "Please Post"
Nice rides! Hey from a new guy perspective I always interested in the acc. people have added. Can I ask for tire size and model? Di you add HD springs with your rear seat, also I like the tear drop light kit..nice.
Also wonder if I did the right buy! I have otw 22x10.5x10 I hope they still look good and hope I dont regret not get 12" rims. My thoughts were to have better side wall and comfort in ride. Second buyers question of potential remorse is raising mine with 6" Jakes. My goal is alot of off road but, I do alot on trails but a have a couple of fairly steep hills to climb. Will it really make a huge differnec in torque or will I still climb hills but a bit slower? Problem here is I did my home work I thought then you read posts and always get more opinions so I am looking for you G22 guys to offer some thoughts. |

Re: Yamaha G22 Club "Please Post"
Imho ive owned a both the 6" and 3" jakes lift kits. Both kits will fit 22" tires with no issues. Just a tad bit of trimming on the rear rockers. I prefer the 3". Plenty of clearance for offroading and a heck of alot easier to enter and exit the cart. The 6" really raises the back foot plate way up if you add the rear seat kit. The 6" was too high for my parents and inlaws to get in and out of the cart safely. Way too high. 3" with 12" wheels on 22" tires was the route i took from trademark carts. As far as needed torque when adding the lift and tires you will lose a significant amount of power. The solution is to contact plowmans carts which is a vender here and your cart will be a whole new machine with guaranteed results.

Re: Yamaha G22 Club "Please Post"
Finally got the body back from paint. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. The wife's happy , too. Nothing fancy, no bling. I've got a windshield on the way...

Re: Yamaha G22 Club "Please Post"
Really like that color choice a robins egg or old T Bird. Did you send it out to get painted and how much would that set a guy back ? Wonder if I could do that with my spray gun and some auto paint.
Like that Camo rig as well. On the topic of the 6" lift I hope it doesn't turn out turn high for the kid to get in the back and I also hope I don't have to pull it apart to install a HD coil over from Jake's to stop any rubbing. I'm at a lost why the you lose so much torque on the hills with the 22" tires can't wrap my head around it. What torque % or unit measure of increase does the Plow mans kit provide? |
