I reinstalled mine outward. I cant see a reason not too. it makes my leaf springs parallel with the frame

is there a reason they are meant to angle inward?

Alignment on the axle leaf spring perches?
I've changed my leafs 3 times, and never removed them, never had to!

if you have the body off and look down at it the perches aren't lined up with the shackles facing in. If you flip them outward it lines up the front perch with the rear leaf shackle. my guess is that it keeps all the weight under the frame and since its aluminum I may opt to change mine back to factory
