Carb Question on 1993 FE-350 Engines
I have a 1993 Carryall II with the FE-350 engine. The engine has begun to spit and sputter when I take off like it's starving for gas but runs fine when I get up to a constant speed. I've replaced the fuel filters and fuel pump so I'm almost positive the carb needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I found a carb that came of a 97'or 98' model FE-350 and it looks like the one on my cart. What is the difference in a 1993 carb and a 1997 or 1998 carb?? Will it still fit my engine???

Re: Carb Question on 1993 FE-350 Engines
I don't have any info on pre-96 FE350 carbs, but my guess would be that they're the same!
One thing you might want to check first though, if it's only sputtering at low rpm's, you might want to clean the "pilot jet"... #13 in the pic! (this pic is for an FE290, but it gives you an idea!) |
