Default Wheel offset

I plan on putting a 6 " spindle lift on a DS Club car. I have found a set of tires that are 22/10/12 on aluminum rims- my question is they have a 6" offset from what the seller is telling me. Will these work?

How wide are these wheels? 6" of offset sounds gigantic. I imagine that the wheels would stick out ridiculously far with that much offset. My cart has 2" offset wheels.

To answer your question, I guess technically they would work. But I have a feeling your wheels don't have that much, maybe your seller is confused.

First off he sold them. But for my knowledge I did some research and found out I need negative 25 or greater offset for a lifted cart.
The wheels were 12x 10- he said they measured 6" from the back side to the mounting face. I believe they had to be positive offset and not negative

What he's measuring isn't the offset, he's giving you the measurement of the wheel's backspacing. The offset would be how far off the mounting surface of the wheel is from the wheel centerline.

Yeah you don't want positive offset with a lifted cart, you want negative offset in order to get those wheels out further from the cart to provide more stability.
