Battery not charging on my 2000 club car gas carryall
I installed a brand new solenoid and ran a test on the voltage regulator.
I put my red probe on the large post of the solenoid with the red wire from the voltage regulator attached. I put the black probe on the negative battery post. Turned the key on and started the motor and it read 12.9 volts. When i pressed the pedal down the volts dropped down to 3 volts. When i let off the gas for the motor to idle it went back to 12.9 V. I have a brand new battery, solenoid and key switch. I ran a continuity test on all the wiring on the entire cart and cleaned all the connections and make sure they are tightened down. My battery is not charging and i ran a test on the starter/generator and it's good. Can anyone help? |
