Default 2015 ezgo

Greetings, I have a 2015 Ezgo with a 6 inch lift; I think it is the 401 displacement motor. Ran one day quite the next, starving for gas problem. I cut back on the air intake( I had open it up 4 months ago with no problems) and it runs better but not for an extended time at speed. My gas gauge stopped registering about the same time; are the problems connected? Noticed today a red light in the gas gauge comes on momentary. It does have a small oil leak and I have replaced the fuel pump. It will limp along till it has to work harder then stall out. I'm on a fixed income and still paying for this thing, any help is welcome...

Red light is probably the oil pressure light. If it is coming on it is either low on oil or has a oil pressure issue. When was the last time the oil was changed?

Oil changed in july, along with fuel, air filter, and new fuel lines.

If it has a red light next to the fuel gauge that is an oil pressure light. It may come on sometimes when starting but should never see it when running. Sounds like you have some trash in the carb or fuel tank is pulling a vacuum. Try loosening the gas cap and see what happens.
