Default GX340 crankshaft too short???

I'm dropping a Honda gx340 into my txt. I'm planning to purchase the v-belt pulley for the S/G from Vegas Carts. I currently have a Comet 780 drive clutch. The engine crankshaft is 2 13/64" long, the clutch already stops an inch or so short of going all the way onto the shaft, if I add the pulley I'll subtract another inch or so from how much the clutch slips onto the shaft. Thoughts?

Default Re: GX340 crankshaft too short???

Ok so I pulled the motor out, pulled the clutch off and re-measured everything. My distance between the flange and end of shaft is actually 2.75” (in contradiction to the online manual). So I think my shaft is just long enough...
