Default New Rear springs

Looking to upgrade the rear springs for my txt. Adding a back seat on it and figure the rear springs on it now are a little soft.

Everyone seems to sell "stiffer rear leaf springs" any suggestions on which ones worked well, which ones were too stiff and which ones weren't any stiffer?

I don't need a buck board, just looking to not drag the rear end when 4 people are in the cart

Look for the "Dual Action" springs. Similar in concept to the old fashioned helper springs they used to put on many cars & trucks. A close to normal rate spring but with a much heavier bottom leaf with a little less curve to it. You have the regular spring when lightly loaded (so it doesn't kill the ride quality) but if you load it enough to come down on the heavier leaf it really stiffens it up. Here is one example but several of the site sponsors would carry them. http://www.jasonsgolfcarts.com/Rear_...p/spn-1031.htm

Those are exactly what I think I want! Have you used them before?

Yes, I’ve personally installed those on dozens of carts. So far every one has resulted in a happy cart owner.
