2006 gas ez go TXT
Hey guys,
I have a 2006 ez go TXT that I’ve been working on. It’s got a no spark issue right now. The plugs were bad so I started there and still nothing. Put a voltmeter on the ignition coils and it was only drawing around 7-7.3. volts. This should be at least 12 volts, correct? Just wanted to double check before I went ahead and ordered the part. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sounds reasonable. Assume the battery is good as well as ignition wires.

Thanks! Yep it’s a brand new battery and all of the wiring looked good! Just wanted to make sure there was nothing else I could be missing or testing. I know the igniter itself you can’t really test without replacing so figured this was the best place to start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 2006 gas ez go TXT
I'd check for a loose ground wire somewhere. I believe there should be a ground strap on or near the coil bracket, towards the oil sending unit area. Check to make sure it is clean and secure. Check the ground on the ignitor box as well
