OMG, I've never seen anyone cobble fix a clutch like that.......

It appears your ramps are wore out so the wood block is there to at least make it turn, I'll bet high speed is very very low. Those wood blocks and hose clamps will not let it open so you have no variable gearing, therefor it's stuck in low gear ratio, I wouldn't run it again until you replace it

Couldn't say I disagree. That ain't right. At all.

I wouldn't even try to fix it, just get a new one.

Really makes me wonder after seeing that what other presents may await you. For your sake we will cross our fingers and hope "none".

As for other presents may await me the engine runs great but makes a loud hissing pop. I think it ia blowing compression passed the spark plug

Oh no, surprise number 2 if the spark plug threads are stripped. However, it's not a catastrophe. It's actually pretty common when over tightening the spark plug in the aluminum head. Get yourself a 'heli-coil' repair kit of the proper size threads, diameter and depth (I don't remember the size). Also, I would remove the head when repairing it so you don't get any shavings in the cylinder...........

Do a search for a clutch, you'll find one out there as they are still available. Maybe start with one of our site sponsors Good luck .........

Maybe a head gasket too. Easy enough to pull a cylinder head off a 2 stroke, I'd start there.

I had a head for a 3PG but I think I may have sold it for like 20 bucks on ebay There's probably others out there if a helicoil doesn't work.
