Default 2004 ST 350 Tranny oil type?

Hello, I hadn't found the oil type for a tranny oil change, and I'm wondering if the group has a recommendation for oil types, and if synthetic is an option? Just want to put the best into this older machine. Thank you

ps......there has been maintenance issues I have had on the list, but a shoulder injury has prevented me from doing so....well a shot of steroids in the shoulder has given me some relief, so I'm going after it before I'm down for the count again

I just did a tranny oil change on mine. I was told to put straight weight 30 in it. It has the drain plug at the very bottom, the yellow plug is the where you put the oil in, and right between those 2 is your full plug. Drain all your fluid. Then your going to want to take the plug out right above your drain plug. This is the full hole. Add your oil where the yellow plug is and fill until you see oil come out of the full hole. Once it is trickling out put your full plug back in and your done. I used GTX HD 30 to put back in mine. Seems to be perfectly fine! Hope this helps!!
