G14 Runs great when cold but then won't rev up

I received my new spark plug today. Checked both old and new plugs cold, both have a pretty consistent white/yellowish spark. Got the cart running (no choke) and let it warm up again to the point that it does not want to rev. Checked the plug (new) and there was still a white/yellowish spark. I sprayed carb cleaner down into the cylinder to make sure it was getting fuel, put the plug back in and it still doesn’t want to rev. At this point I’m convinced it is an electrical issue. Should a new ignition coil make the spark blue again?

The part #JF2-82310-01-00 is $60 at partzilla. Expensive experiment if that is not was is wrong. Only the G8&G14 use this coil.

Thanks for the info. I think I’m going to order this to try it but before I do is there a way that I can test the coil that I have with a voltmeter? I’ve tested the coils on my motorcycle in the past and there was a certain Ohm range that they were supposed to be within. And if there is a way to test them would I do it cold or hot or both?
