2007 EZGO ST Sport II...good buy?

So I’m looking to possibly buy a cart and totally new to all this. I’m looking at a 2007 Ezgo ST Sport II with the dump bed. It does have the clays rack, but all else seems stock. It has the 11hp Subaru engine. I think I can get it for $2500. Would this be a good buy? I’m looking to also add a rear seat and replace the dump bed...thoughts?

Not a bad deal but not great either. Rear seat kit would work with mods or put a foot rest in the hitch and some cushions in the bed. I do prefer the Subaru over the Kawasaki

Just out of curiosity, what makes the Subaru engine better?

Its quite, easy to work on, reliable . I would want to know what the compression was before I paid that much money for one. You think the owner would let you check it ?

It’s possible. Is it pretty easy to check the compression? Pull the spark plug and put on a gauge I’m assuming? I drove it and it all sounded decent...ran fine, no smoke or burning oil. Anything else I need to look out for?

Twin cylinder and much smoother than the Kawasaki thumper. Kawi does make a good motor but I was told that the ones used in the ezgos don’t have the counter balance shaft so more vibration.
